blackmax
I think I only pay around £450 a year for my N/A mind you I am 33. I use Liverpool Victoria in Poole apparently they are import car specialists for insurance. Tesco's quoted me about £200 more.. So they might be worth a try.....? Faye
Theres a good reason why they didn't have a UK non turbo, the MKIV NA is an import.

ad500
I got a quote today from Liverpool victoria, not sure about their under 25 policy but the quote was amazing. Currently, f/comp all mods declared. sp30(5points), £700 excess, garaged parking, cat 1 alarm, mandatory tracker required, 32yrs/5 yrs NCB...... £895+£99 for tracker per year. Liv Vic. Didn't care about mods so long as the engine size hadn't changed (good for those of you thinking of big singles). Didn't care about SP30, excess down to £400, tracker not required anymore, not worried whether garaged overnight.......................................................£602per year

You haven't got a particular number or contact there have you. I tried them tonight and they couldn't find my car 98 SZ, only a toyota supra SI but that didn't go upto 98. Also tried Bell direct who i'm sure do imports for some on here but i got the 'oh can't really do that' and transferred through (eventually) to Adrian Flux and then gave up after being on hold for some time. I'm just really becoming annoyed with the whole process at the moment.
Gordon F
Originally posted by blackmax I use Liverpool Victoria in Poole apparently they are import car specialists for insurance. Not according to their online quoting division. It says there that they will not insure imported cars
lust2luv
Liv Vic wouldn't insure mine either - they keep telling people they're phasing out insuring imports. Go figure.
blackmax
Oh no I think there might be some truth ni this... My sister in law works there and she says they are not taking on any new policies only running with the old ones they have..? Go figure.!! Scooter
Ok its getting closer and i've managed to get my renewal down to £844. For all you NA'ers this online quote place seems the best i've found (its the only one that increases my premium when i change from a SZ to RZ) It may not like sub 25 or 30 (i'm 30) but it doesn't seem to mind points............. Scooter
Originally posted by Faye Well done Scooter, bet you're a happy bunny. well its certainly £200 quid saved, which is not to be sniffed at. I think i've been saved by my age and the fact that although i have a fair few points i haven't received a ban. Hate too think how some of you young'uns would get on with my points!
