Kopite
PM TLicense or LeeT - they've both done it

Jake
PM TLicense or LeeT - they've both done it Tony hasn't, he paid somebody else to do it, iirc. Why not just ask your questions in a thread anyway? You might get a better response than waiting for one person to reply.

Didn't mean they'd done it personally (i think Lee did do his himself though?), just meant they've looked into it and will have good knowledge of the job. Definately post it in a thread, again just meant it might be worth sending a PM if it's just a very quick Q which needs a quick answer incase neither of them sees the thread
DannoSupra
Right, mine's a UK Auto.. I'm cool with all the mechanical bits of the conversion.... It's the ECU side im a bit worried about. I've got a set of HKS GT2835's to put on the car, so i'll need a AEM ECU, and i take i need to get a Manual Adaptor for the AEM. Basicly i need to know what re-wiring work is needed?... Very Much Appreciated Daniel
Soonto_HAS_soop
Don't necessarily need an AEM, you could probably run an emanage blue if you had it set up correctly, and that would be with the auto ECU.
Scooter
Danno 'JohnK' is doing a UK auto to 6 Speed conversion as we type.. ......interestingly he has posted this thread
Pig
What if im running a single with emu? just change stock ecu and re map?
Soonto_HAS_soop
An auto ECU will run a 6 speed car with no problems. But an 6 speed ECU will not run an auto.
Pig
Good job there isnt many manual to auto conversions then eh lol

DannoSupra
so when i get my AEM, i can get a Auto Loom for it? only thing i suppose i'll have to make, is a reverse light loom
Soonto_HAS_soop
Reverse light is taken from the box not the ECU though. Also if your going manual, then get the manual version of the AEM.
