wkdtime
Martin if carry on being so generous you'll find alot of posts like these popping up in the hope you'll 'sort' them out.
michael
And Martin has just proven the exact reverse to be true.... Has he? If the items received back were damaged after the buyer posted them and then returned to him in poor condition it's understandable that he might think they were different isn't it? I'm not suggesting Martin damaged them here BTW, this could have happened while they were originally shipped, during the second shipping or maybe even not at all. It's possible they returned in exactly the same condition as they left... maybe we will never know, maybe we don't care much anyway, maybe I'll stop trying to make the day go quicker by faking an interest in things that don't really matter to me.... I go with the PR stunt theory, this is another of Martin's fake accounts so that he can pimp his service and wares to the community

michael
But if he wants me to get them resrayed then what can I do but say "fine" - to save my reputaion! I don't think your reputation is on the line here, you certainly don't need to make yourself out of pocket in order to raise it's level anyway! I'm just curious as to why the buyer thought they were in worse condition when they were his originals. Clearly you'd have no knowledge of their condition until they arrived with you so this wouldn't raise any eyebrows before sending them back. You've accepted the blame for the service side of things, I don't think you need to accept the blame for the condition of the mirrors unless the original poster can give evidence to prove the condition of them prior to sending them *and* prove that the damage he describes wasn't made during shipping. Sorry, I'm bored.
Lucifer
Well said, but I like to be above reproach when it comes to service.
wkdtime
TBH even though we think this genrousity is uncalled for as the mirrors may have been damaged prior you recieving them or even the damage on his glass, its reallly good to know you look after your customers rather than play the blame game like alot do on hear which tarnishes their reputaion regradless of fault. Put it this way even though this may leave you a little out of pocket, think of all the pottential new customers you have now. Will defo be doing service with you mate. lust2luv
Yeah, top response from Martin, admitting his mistakes and willing to try to rectify them. Very rare occurance for a trader on here I must say!

Having experienced really crappy service from a trader on here, I can safely say that Martin is a trader that I personally wouldnt have any problems dealing with. Looking forward to the openday... Rob
Why didn't Matt mention the covering letter then or the £150 back into his paypal account or did that just happen today? Come on Matt, don't be shy, Martin's posted up his errors.

Pig
Martin, when i bought the part for my re-circulating BOV i didnt realise it was going to be so much effort to fit. Now that im not using it, i feel out of pocket. Will you do me that engine rebuild to make up for it?

Shaun.
My RLTC still is not working that I bought from Martin and despite his offers to help me out and even offered to refit it free of charge I feel that I should be looking at a replacement car for my unit. Martin keeps ignoring my pleas for a late model VVTi , should I invove trading standards ? Shaun.

Scooby
Well thats nothing! When I needed two new rear wheels for my Supra he had the nerve to offer me exactly what I wanted and at really good price, and I was able to collect them at a time sutable for me!!! (The nerve of the man). Due to all this agravation I am now seeking medical help, although a nice shiny HKS BOV would help Martin(wink wink). All joking aside he is one of the best traders I have ever delt with and would recomend his services to anyone! Brad

RobSheffield
despite me never ordering anything from Martin, he hasnt ever sent me anything. lots of people who have ordered things have a free bag of sweets to date i have not recieved any sweets. this has left me feeling unloved and unwanted. i feel that i have been ostracised from the community. in compensation id like some larger injectors, a turbo kit, and an EMU (dont ask)
