Justin
Guys/gals I've seen that a few of you Paul E, Gaz W have a nice shiny blue paint job on your cover and some on the fan cover. Did you get it done at a professional paint shop or just use some off the shelf spray paint? 1. Can you tell me what type you used and where I can get it 2. Did you use laquer too? Cheers Bling wannabe Justin:flame Dev

Gaz Walker
Hi Justin, The car your thinking about is Kevins not mine, and his cam was done professionally when his car was sprayed. It looks so much better if you get a pro job. If you remove and install it yourself you'll save a bit of cash too. If you want to send it up here we can do it for you if you can be without it for a week. Gaz.

dude
Use ordinary 2k materials but the cover must be primed first otherwise the paint etc will dull off as its absorbed into the plastic , if you want a mettalic finish you will need to laquer it . I normally do all the plastic covers ,Fuse/Spark/Cruise/Relays. Its also possible to do the charcoal filter as well , to do them properley takes a little time , dont let anyone tell you they can just be rubbed down and painted , they will look fine untill they are back under the bonnet and have got hot a few times then they will start going all dull Dude:flame Dev
