Guru
I really need some advice on this. My clock, heater and blower controls are still dead! I have checked fuses in the engine and cabin locations. The radio fuse did blow but I cannot find another dead one. Can anyone suggest which fuse to check or what the problem could be other than this? Animal
I had this happen to me last year and it turned out to be the cigarette lighter fuse that had blown. Took out the entire centre console. Replaced that and everything came back on.

Guru
No I didn't do anything I think that should have caused the problem Ben I will check the fuse for the lighter tomorrow Animal and the rest of the panel come to think of it. It's just sods law that the weather is soooooo hot when I have no air or AC.....
Guru
Ok well dial illumination is now added to the list of things not working! I took the dash off and everything was perfect behind......WTF could it be!
Soonto_HAS_soop
My heater stopped working when I inadvertently (SP) disconnected a connection in the passenger footwell. It was only a three wired connector but it fecked me up for a few days figuring it all out. Other than that, I'd check out all the fuses in the engine bay and in the drivers footwell just to be sure. Stevie Boy
I had similar fault after fitting a new stereo a couple years back and indeed was cigar lighter fuse in drivers footwell fuse panel! Had me confused as to the relationship between lighter, heater controls blower and clock but it was the culprit. Think may have shorted out the cigar lighter semi-exposed terminals on stereo cage when refitting facia panel. Was a sweltering hot day to loose A/C controls on too!
