Marco
Hi, A friend of mine wants to buy a Saab SE 2.0 Turbo. What should he look out for? What are common problems etc? Any comments welcome. Thanks in advance
samsupra37
Backache.... Had one sold it very quickly.....if you like the Supra drive style then I found the Saab drive very very uncomfortable as very upright...... Not very constructive sorry...... Other than that they generally are very good well made cars...sometimes the alarms are dodgy but what alarm isn't. Sorry can't be of more help but only kept mine a month sold it bought a Mustand instead.....

SupraAyf
Marco, I used to have the Saab 95 2.0 SE and it was a great car for the motorways but a bit wobbley in the corners. It was only 2 years old when I bought it and it looked great with it's Saab bodykit on and stylish 18's. The thing that i should have noted is that the towbar had been used for pulling caravans at weekends. So at the 3 year point, I had the MOT done and it cost me £2K to fix every bloody oil leak/seals etc within the engine. Any Saab with a towbar - stay away from them as they can't hack the long term punishment! Regards buddy, Andrew:thumbs:
