letmeshowyou
bear in mind, you'll use more fuel for the first few weeks after fitting it, revving the car in places you wouldnt normally just to hear it
Jake
I think you could get away with a loud BOV on a soop they serve a purpose. What purpose is that? What do they do that the stock one doesn't? (Apart from the 'look at me!" noise)
gaz1
being an old git i said to myself (as a corsa went by hissing) i would not have one, then i heard one on a supe and thought i want one, the best 12k i ever spent, and then got the hks bov from lucifers store and happy:d
stupra
Not saying i'd have a really loud BOV Jake, just saying you could get away with one if you had one. I guess the standard one does the same job, but if you've got a big bhp soop, maybe the ones that are better for the car itself are a bit louder. We all must have a bit of look at me in us, or we wouldn't be driving soop's in the first place, let alone modded soop's. you either like loud BOV's, or you don't, each to their own. . letmeshowyou
What purpose is that? No, Mr. BMW driver, this isnt a non-turbo?

What is Chav / Rice ?.. on a car making it look/sound something it isn't is what I consider it to be, well don't know about you guys but my car isn't chavish and I'll dag anyone from the lights / have a burnout shootout with anyone who say I am Shaun. All the big power supes running high boost seem to go for the HKS as their not prone to leaking at high boost due to the 'Pull type' valve structure unlike the other 'Push Type' valves. Apart from the above there is no extra purpose they can offer over stock Recirculating BOV...except the woosh:D
stupra
I'll be going for the HKS version when the time comes wkdtime, sounds good. Like i said earlier, we've all gotta bit of "look at me" in us a ?.

Jake
What purpose is that? No, Mr. BMW driver, this isnt a non-turbo? Huh? What do you mean "Mr BMW driver"?
Ian C
He means "The BOV lets a BMW driver know that it's a turbocharged car". He wasn't accusing you of being a BMW driver, stand down -Ian
Jake
Thank gawd for that. What was the question mark for? I read it with the inflection suiting a question, which made no sense at all.

stupra
Cheers for the advice wkdtime, i'm in the process of asking a few questions, so hopefully it'll be a good decision when i finally make my mind up to which kit i'm gonna use, I have heard some nightmare endings to some people going single, its sad to say the least. wkdtime
Firstly remember if your Auto then beaware of lag, as larger kits on auto TT's dont go too well unless alot of work is put into the setup, this is form experiences of fellow members. Remember big isnt always good!

Clarkey
When I got my HKS SSQ first fitted - I was very disappointed. Makes mouse-fart chuffs. An EWG - much nicer
