Guest saxman
Hi chaps... Just having a discussion with the the Fiat Coupe Club UK about Supras. Just wondering what the general thoughts are amongst the owners themselves about the rear spoilers. Do you guys think the car looks better with the rear wing? or without it? thanks in advance lads/lasses!
Ian W
covered many times mate and am sure if you do a quick search you'll find a few threads about it already. seems to get mixed opinions though, and i'm still unsure myself!
michael
I like them either way.
merckx
Depends on the rest of the car aswell. Some look good without , others don't.
chilli
think it really depends on the car and what else has been done to it. I always used to hate spoilerless supras, but I've seen a few now where it really works and looks great, and some where it looks terrible lol, it just depends... Guest saxman
Cheers guys... Appreciate the comments! I'll have a look elsewhere on the site for the old threads on this topic thanks again!
GeordieSteve
I've had one on mine but took it off. However the spoiler can be practical as well
irfan_habib
I actually took my spoiler off this weekend. Doesn't look too bad. Am still undecided on which look I prefer. Will probably leave it off for a while. Will try and post some before and after pics at some point...
tbourner
The US seem to appreciate it more than over here for some reason. I love the spoiler personally but as mentioned it can look pretty good without if the rest is done to suit.
irfan_habib
I've had one on mine but took it off. However the spoiler can be practical as well I did notice that my acceleration seems to have improved slightly, but at the compromise of handling esp round twisties, back end feels more twitchy. GeordieSteve
Supprised at the difference in handling to be honest
michael
It gives the police somewhere to rest their book as they fill out the speeding ticket

geoffvalenti
I prefer the look of them with the spoiler. Mine didn't have one when I bought it, and the first thing I did was get one put on it. I felt it wasn't complete without. Maybe if most of the Supras had come spoilerless from new, I'd have wondered why people put that silly great wing on it But, as it is, to me its one of its best features, but then again I tend to like loud, in yer face type cars
stupra
I like them with the spoiler, though i've seen a few that look good without one, its down to personal taste. I prefer the standard spoiler, rather than an aftermaket, just think it matches the lines of the car.
Daston
I love the spoiler how many cars can get away with such an in your face wing and also have the power to back it up? However would be cool to have an active rear wing like the carrera (sp?) GT
hogmaw
I love em with no spoiler, I think this thread needs loads of pics of spoilerless supras

RedM
I like the one on the right.
Whitesupraboy2
with a nice wide kit i think it can pull it off. I looked at the thread on the fiat forum, the one they like without the spoiler is gorgeous, but it does have a wideboy kit on it, so looks lower and much wider. Charlotte
Personally i prefer them with, but each to their own.
stupra
Yeah, that looks good Redm, the wheels an side vents make it look alot better to though, helps it pull the look off.
Shaun.
Wide boy kit - Without as above. Kitted - TRD or Veilside BUT .. I really, really LOVE the standard one, Toyota did a great job. Shaun.
tbourner
Isn't there a pic somewhere of a side profile of a spoilerless supe and a DB7 - they have the same profile!!
Ewen
I've had one on mine but took it off. However the spoiler can be practical as well Picnic table / ironing board / work bench / baby-changing table etc etc
