Stonkin
Nic, do Weds do these wheels with any other colour rim (ie red not blue), and also do the wheels themselves come in more of a gunmetal colour as opposed to black. PM with details if you'd rather. Mate, the sa70 only comes in bronze or black chrome, and the rim only in blue. Theres some pics with a red and gold rim in nic's section, but they were only for the tokyo show, but no doubt they will mass produce these at a later date. Stonkin
cant believe everyone has made good comments, things like this are not normally to everyone's cup of t. And James, as far as my hand shaking whilst taking pics, i think its obvious what was going on there Nic's pics above are showing off the colours slightly better. But as the sun glints on them on my drive now, they look completely purple, not sure if thats the finish or the blue band, either way it looks cool. So far had great comments from people in petrol stations and even strangers on the motorway desperately trying to get my attention to give a I'm so glad i got these. Really wanted the car to have an aggressive, meaty, racey look but still keeping a bit of bling about it, these have really pulled that off. The only bad comment i have had is that perhaps the calipers should have been painted blue to match the band, but personally i think it breaks up the colours well as it is? Stonkin
What product can i buy to keep these rims looking shiny and also give them a bit of protection. I'll be cleaning them with just hot soapy water and a soft sponge, but being a black chrome they can leave annoying water marks quite easy. I'm really worried about putting any chemicals on them, so i'm after advice from people who genuinly know, rather than just giving something a go and watching the finish peel off. I use a lot of the meguiars range at the mo.
EdMorris
They are Weds SA-70 wheels 18x9/18x10 in black chrome finish (I have the bronze version on my own car). They are very light weight and great value for money too. Do you have a pic, Nic. Very sexy wheels btw.

colsoop
Use a good car wax, apply liberally do it now before you get any brake dust forming on the surface. Then wash with soap and water and a sponge and apply the wax again ad infinitum

Stonkin
Thanks Colin, i thought it best to apply something sooner rather than later. Dont meguiars do a proper wheel wax? Rob, thanks very much. they are 9" front and 10" rear, with 245/40/18 and 285/35/18. The offset is 32. The backs did rub badly, i've had the arches shaved as much as poss and it only seems to catch on bumpy, high speed turns. People have now been banned from sitting in the back!
