RedM
Yeah, twice. Once to make sure of spelling and grammar and again to ensure it was totally over the top.
RedM
Look at this way, Blunt boy. There are those that listen to music and there are those that listen to music

Yeah just a bit over the top, by the way i have one thing more to add to this, I got you hook, line and sinker, I honestly do like JB but I could not resist getting you to retaliate. RedM
You never got me hook, line and sinker. Let me tell you why. Blunt isn't even on my radar. I know nothing about him except for that (very shit) song. I'm only even aware of it because my five year old nephew sung it (and honestly, if you could see the footage of him doing so, you would cry. It has more passion and beauty in it than the original). I don't listen to the radio except for Radio Four, I don't watch music tv, I don't bother with it at all. I know some of these people are extremely popular but rice is a popular food, lots of people watch Coronation Street and millions buy The Sun. It doesn't mean they are good. Honestly, when I see people in HMV or Virgin and they are buying something from the chart I have no idea if they are making a worthwhile purchase and, to get back to your point, I don't care. I'm only arguing for the fun of it and to up my post count. Pwnd.

RedM
You are right, Mark. I would have argued whether you were trying to get me to or not. I wish people would take the time not to listen to shit music and explore their boundaries. Buy records at random. Download something from a band with an odd name. Do anything except buy the shit forcefed to you by the music industry. You only like the taste if you've never tasted better.

I like all music, but there are exceptions to the rules:- Folk singers ie Daniel O'Donnell, Teeny bop music, Christ i even like Gospel, I love Classical, i explore a lot of boundaries in music as there is not much i dont like. I like you find the unknowns the most passionate and best to listen too, you woudl love the Fringe festival.

Mike
I honestly just like his music, TBH ..but what is to like? when was mediocre a good example to leave our kids? How does he 'move' you? It's safe, inoffensive, in-affecting, background, middle of the road nothingness... the only thing it does effectively is block out silence..?! I've no doubt your money could be better spent somewhere else... However, each to their own etc. and props to you for defending something you like - against 5 pages (and counting) of opposition!
