Tom
Just wondering if theres actually anyone on here thats 21 or under and insured in their name on a j-spec? The way things are going at the moment I will not be able to buy the uk spec model i've found so instead I could wait till october(when im 21) and look for a j-spec, and I am interested to know what kinda price i'd be looking at, Im with elephant at the moment (who will not insure me till im 21 on an import)but on a uk spec I would have to pay around £1200-£1500 depending on mods done to the car, so is there anyone that can give me an idea? Any J-spec model will be fine! By october I would have 3 years ncb, doing >10,000 miles a year. TIA Tom.
lovatt
i was 21 and insured by direct line, but they tried to back out at the last moment and i had a bit of a battle with them, they insured me in the end but will no longer insure people under 25 on a supra, they still sent me a renewal this year tho ! i also had a good quote off tesco and they will insure under 25s now

Get ready for the "No under 25's on imports" line. I hate that, like it fecking matters! Ben..
1 Adam
Please don't. I can feel my blood starting to boil already! There's someone out there who's waiting for the call. I will find them!
Scooter
Adam, NA insurance tends to be higher than for a TT, don't ask me why i just can't get my head round it.... I hate to even think what premium you'd be quoted for a one off turbo'd NA
1 Adam
LOL yeh it would be very interesting! I think they'd probably have a giggle down the phone and then hung up. Taking this into account I think the one off turbo transplant might be a very expensive idea:(
