Rear Light Clusters - How Do I?

 NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you need 2 'pairs' of jap clusters,

and 2 'pairs' of UKs for full clears,

whatever you do, dont get 4 pairs of jap, it wont work!!!!

mark, couldnt dissagree more, having coloured rear cluster lense surround will just blend the lights in, making them more subtle, not more max power bling!

wait till theyre done n youve seen a pic, then if you dont like, fair nuff, but theyre gonna look great i reccon!!!!

facelift fronts are totally different inside to the UK glass ones, theyre ribbed carbon fibre rather than shiny silver stuff, but the fact that the lenses are plastic means they dont look that great and are way more prone to aging/scratching/water getting in, they didnt make em for our nasty cold wet climate!

top lighting thread by the way, cant beat messin around with your lights!!! :)

paul, you'd be lucky to get facelift rears or fronts from anyone but toyota, and they upped their prices on them about 50% in november, fortunately i got the ones i needed before then,

i might sell my facelift fronts in the future coz ive got the glass ones on mine at the mo, but im keepin hold of em for the mo.

This is a very good point! There's no point buying these from America because the beam pattern will be wrong for the UK which isn't good to start with. Then there's the fact it will fail the MOT.

Just for clarification I'm talking about the front lights here.

Speaking to Toyota today about something else and they checked the price on the facelight rear lights for me.

£46.50 each not including VAT so your looking at a total cost of about £110 (if you cant get a discount) plus you could sell your old lamps for about £50 that's another option for you to consider perhaps?

Check this thread for good pictures comparing the two:
