Guest Essex_RS
More questions!!! - SORRY! How many miles could you expect from a uk spec , full service history engine? Anyone had any problems with their engines? Ever had to replace one, if so is it expensive? What boost does a car run as standard? Maximum boost on a standard engine? *May be looking at a car at the weekend. 400bhp is selling his! Cheers Essex_RS

Cheers Essex_RS 1) 200k + 2) Very Rare! 3) Probably! 4) I think about 0.7 bar? 5) Most seem to run 1.1 or 1.2 bar with other mods to suit. Guest Essex_RS
What about the Turbo's? Milage? My RS Garett could only run 1 bar on a standard thrust bearing? It had a 360 to run more? Cheers Essex_RS
ChrisB
can run about 1.4 on mine and havent had any probs yet:innocent:
Bobbeh
0.8 is normal I believe. UK's run rich so you can safey run higher boost. The engine should be sound but the turbo's may need replacing depending on the mileage and how long hes been running the high boost. As long as regular servicing and frequent oil changes have been done, you should be ok

Cheers Essex_RS (Sensible Driving) :flame Dev If it was running standard boost its not gonna be 400bhp £60 to fill up with optimax. 80 litre tank. 300 miles if your drive with spirit.. and 350+ if you drive sensibly. Thorin
Driving sensibly I get ~250 miles with probably half motorway, half town and A roads (smaller j-spec fuel tank though, I'm never sure on the sizes, is it 70litre j-spec and 80litre uk??). I believe Chris Wilson services a Supra with over 300k miles and nothing really major replaced.
