Supe
Hi, I thought I should take a second opinion from you experts . I have just bought a set of three spokers which dont fit my car. I was told that the PCD was 114 and that they came off a J-Spec TT Supra, which is also the same car I have, so they should have fitted. When I tried to put them on the car they just wouldn't go over the studs (one stud would sit in perfect but the others out). I have added pics of how I measured the PCD of my old wheels Circlar Spec R's (Pic 1) and the new wheels (Pic 2). Pic 1: Pic 2: I also cut out a template made from the back of the new wheels and placed it on my old Ame wheels, from which you can probably see that the stud holes on the new wheels are closer. I would just like someone to confirm that this is the correct method used to measure the PCD and what I should say to the person that sold me them (stating that they fit a Supra and the PCD is 114). Supra Dino
http://www.chris-longhurst.com/carbibles/tyre_bible.html use this site it's great for stuff like this.
chilli
well it hardly matters anyway, if you used the same method on both and the measurment is different then the spacing is different! I'd just get your money back as they are clearly not the right PCD for the car... PS: Get some different wheels with the right number of spokes too
Supe
I want to return the wheels, however the seller has sent me a pic through email, which has the wheels on his/her Supra. So what confuses me now is how can they possibly fit his/her car and not mine. I have checked my car and the standard space saver wheel fits over the hub perfectly as well. This is also obviously backed up by the measurement of my old wheels which turn out to be 114.3.. PCD, which I think is the correct PCD for a Supra (correct me if I am wrong). So the wheels I have been sent are 102... PCD, how did they fit the Supra in the pic? Does anyone also know what car has 102 PCD Thanks
ivan
Maybe the seller just sent you a pic of a Supra with the same wheels (with the correct PCD) rather than the actual wheels you bought? In other words - they knowingly lied just to sell them on...
Supe
Thanks for the replies, I was going to post the pic on here, however, when I zoomed into the pic, I noticed that the No.Plate on the front of the car looks copied on. As you said Ivan the seller might be lying, which it looks like. Can I PM or email the pics to one of you guys to check it. Reason I noticed the No.plate, was because I was going to wipe it all clear (blank), as I'm not sure if it's right to post someone's car with their No.plate showing on the Internet. Need4Speed
I want to return the wheels, however the seller has sent me a pic through email, which has the wheels on his/her Supra. Tell the seller that the MkIV Supra club says they don't fit a MkIV Supra!!!

Supe
Ok here is the pic that was sent to me, if you zoom into the no.plate it looks like a Photoshop pasting job. Sorry if the quality is a bit crap, I had to use Paint to resize the pics, so that I can post them here. I can send them by Pm if anyone wants to see them more clearly. Supe
Just noticed that the pic posted is very small, if you scroll your pointer around the middle of the pic, then you will be able to click the icon that appears near the bottom right to make the pic larger. Think you know what I mean
