JustGav
Ah, willing them to lose isn't my cup of tea... by all means do their best... (unless of course it is newcastle united, because then I can wind my dad up, nothing else) *grin
jamesmark
I used to play Football for 5 years and was rather good at it, but i seen the error of the ways and got very quickly bored of it, i wanted something a little bit more challanging and more physical demanding so took up Rugby. I do hope England do well TBH, but remember it is ONLY a game at the end of the day nothing else nothing more.

jamesmark
Too right mate, bet you're glad not to be on 100k a week Right now yes I am, I was good but would not have made big time, sure i like money who doesn't but the way my life is just now i would not change anything, plus your career could be over in a second with football and any other sport for that matter. Terminator
Went out on the roads but it was like the world had ended no one about to play with. Got back and watched the death throws of a green fly in my paint, found a four leaf clover and enjoyed the uncanny quiet. For all those getting so ups set by this thread I dont care either, dont give a toss about football, naver have never will. Dont even talk about it, it has no place in my life. Gave up watching the news a week ago as I could not stand all the coverage of some fat kid who broke his foot. Looking forward to Englands next match, for more empty roads. michael
Neighbours are back outside, kids high on sugar, parents loud on beer - it's days like this that I really start to think about moving, the old neighbours were nice and quiet. I might join them in the noise competition but add some music to the mix... or maybe some NuR.... choices choices.

Dont worry mate, cause with a performance that England gave today i think they will be home pretty soon.
michael
And now the kids are drinking beer and getting louder and louder - why oh why do pikey chavs have to move out of the council estates and come here (I was brought up on a council estate but I'm not a pikey chav) How late can it get before the police can come and take them away? I'm grumpy because my hayfever is a nightmare today.
RedM
Michael, You can call the council noise patrol at any time. I think that after 11pm they have all kinds of powers. The law, IIRC from our noisy students horror, is that after 11pm you are not permitted to make any noise that can be heard in adjacent properties. News from round these parts is that the old folks on either side are watching telly, there is a man walking his dog and another man is setting up the ghost train ride for the village gala tomorrow. Move round here. You know it makes sense.
RedM
..or wait until tomorrow morning, say 7am, and rev the bollocks of your car. If they complain tell em that they should have thought through the consequences last night. Christ, I'm getting angry for you.
Pete
Can't stand football either. No idea who is playing or who has won either. I'm guessing England is one team playing. I think it's great though, all the roads are clear and the cops are busy dealing with drunks getting into fights
