Got home just before midnight last night from work, and spotted one of cats in a frenzy, it was the little girl ( Apple ), and her latest craze up untill now was huge moths, not this time, it was a mouse, which done a runner as soon as i got rid of the cat, could i find or catch it, Nooooo, i have an idea where it is, but can't get to it was up till 3am, so had to buy friendly traps to catch it, after all, it's not he/she fault it ended up in our house, plus don't want nasty traps, just in case one of cats trips it off, Had it been our other cat ( Toffee ) he would have just ripped it apart as he is a cold blooded murderer. here are two pics, one of trap and other of mug shot of the culprit

she just plays all the time, which must be why it was still alive, but she does hold her ground, when we first got Toffee, he would let other cats walk in our garden. Not her, when she arrived, she was out there taking on cats 3 times her size, so apart from our two, naext doors cat ( her little play buddy) no other cats dare come into the garden. I just hope the little mouse finds the trap first before Toffee gets him and unscrews the head off its little body

my poxy cat caught a bloody wood pigeon and brought it into the house alive the other day ! the bird was massive, how the hell he done that i dunno.

My cat is a bit on the large side, (its half Mainecoon) it beats up my neighbours dog too (Labrador), most embarrassing for the owner :p .

:) Cats not called Damian is it ?

Love the trap...saw it on Grand Designs...wheelchair access, atrium and minimalist layout. Did you need planning permission ?

lol,,, yes the trap is very pc, have put two down, if the mouse is behind the washing machine the nearest food he can find is the cats, and it does'nt want to be found eating there, oh no. it would be a fate worse than death if Toffee caught him munching on his grub

Right i'm off to work, will keep you posted on the mouse hunt and who catches it first, odds are in favor of the cats, as it is hot out and both are inside,,oh dear

One of my cats caught a mouse last week, she was cheerfully lobbing it around the garden til we caught her, I grabbed the cat and my otherhalf grabbed the pool net and scooped it up, still alive put it back into the bushes to make its escape, what we didnt bargin for was our other cat must have been hiding a watching, soon as we put the poor little mouse down , the other little git ran from the other side of the garden into the bushes, got the poor little mouse and run off into the woods with it , poor mouse :(

Yes,,,, at last, caught it. checked traps yesterday,, nothing. today we were watching a DVD when the wife spotted it behind the Telly, tried to coax it out, but the little bugger was in the tv stand, so left it there till end of film. then had to take back of TV stand apart to get the little bugger, hour later we caught it,, so the cats lost lol :)

I did see one of the cats looking for the times and on what power setting to cook him on lol, no he was released into the wild,

I told my father inlaw about the cat catching it, etc, and he said i should get one of those sonic plug in the wall jobbies to scare them off, which i pointed out would not work, yes it will he stated, at which point i said the mice would not be able to run away when it is firmly clamped in one our cats f#*cking teeth,,,,, oh yeah he said,,, lol
