b.weeks
Hi All, Anyone got any experience of adding a tiptronic system to a supra (mine is a '96, 4-speed jap auto). I've read a little about the SupraStick - but even the website that sells it don't give too much away about it or what it even looks like. Anyone in here got any experience of this? http://latentsolutions.com/products.html Cheers, Ben.
mawby
It has been mentioned before although not in very much detail. D3xt3r seems to pop up mentioning it the most, so might want to ask him.

ManwithSupra
I have e-mailed them to see if they do one for the MK4
ManwithSupra
I got a reply from them over the weekend This is what it said. “Richard Thank you for your interest in the Suprastick. The current model of Suprastick does not support transmissions with electronic line pressure control, which unfortunately makes the MK4 supra incompatible with the product. I have no plans in the near future to support this function. Regards” So I imagine that’s a no then
b.weeks
Did anyone ever find out about this?
b.weeks
Here's the response I had from SupraStick: Without detailed information on the exact model of transmission you are trying to control it is hard to tell you if the SupraStick is completely compatible. The Suprastick is designed to control 3 solenoid (2 shift solenoids plus lockup), mechanical line pressure controlled transmissions. For this reason, many newer transmissions are incompatible as they require electronic line pressure control to function correctly, which the Suprastick does not provide. The known compatible transmissions are the asin a340 series (and all jeep and other rebranded versions of this tranny - there are many). Anyone know the details of the auto?
