GetawayDriver
Hello, Car has been doing this for a while so i've just been driving about with the boost controller off. If i switch it on it still hits fuel cut. i am running some very reasonable boost settings on my Blitz SBC-iD III and powermeter. i've tried adjusting the pots on the pete betts FCD i have but to no avail - i still hit fuel cut randomly in 4th, 5th and 6-th. sometimes it will boost to 1.2 bar no worries, other times it hits fuel cut at an indicated 0.9 bar. could it be a boost spike that is too quick for the boost controller to pickup, but the ecu can? could something else cause this? Paul Whiffin
Are you 100% sure its fuel cut? Does your ECU light flash up?
cashpoint
Could be a loose connection. I remember being a Leon's when Branners was they with a similar problem turned out to be a loose connection.
Paul Whiffin
We had a TRL converter go down on us a few months ago, could be a dodgy one, you never know
GetawayDriver
yeah, def fuel cut - almost always close to the red line. if it did it consistently i'd be able to pin it down, but it's so random i can't think would it could be but a loose conntection or a faulty unit. my SMIC is shagged, i can actually see though it - could that contribute to it? i have a new FMIC to fit, just waiting on the pipe kit.
