Hi all,

I need part numbers for a few little bits and bobs on the UK spec.

I need to order a few seals on the inlet side, around 3 in total I think.

First one is the seal between the throttle body and the Plenum, the second is between the plenum and the runners, and the 3rd is between the runners and the cylinder head.

If, anybody could help me, I would greatly apreciate this?

Oh - and Roy, my aerotop leaked for the first time this week. I had tightened the roof up properly but for some reason unbolting it and replacing it cured the problem. Strange but true...

Did you get the nice wet seatbelt problem, that was the only indication something was wrong with mine - seat belt on, soaking wet chest, nice :(

It may also be worth checking the rubber gutters, they do seem to get bunged up with all sorts of lovely green gunge, quick fiddle around with them, slightly tighten the roof and I've not had any problems since.

Couldn't have worded it better myself.

No. Mine was a wet thigh. The leak was from the T-seal where the roof joins the a-pillar and the window. Dripping vertically onto the front / right hand edge of the driver's seat.

darren/faye - thank you so much. darren, for some reason, when i tried to view that attachment, it came out garbled (several tries). could i trouble you to spot it up again please. TIA.

faye, i've not had the wet seatbelt problem (as yet! crosses fingers!) but i have had EXACTLY the same problem as darren with one addition, it seems because of the join between the targa roof n the windown rubber seal thingy, water is drippig down INTO my a-pillar pod (greddy) and drippig from both the join seal and from the behind the gauges.

my local mechanic tried calling toyota but they had no clue what he was talking about ... surprise, surprise!! faye - i will try woodcock garage to see if they can help (thank you - lovely girl isn't she?) and get them to send it to me.

should i worry about the water dripping into the pillar pod as far as electrics go ?

thank yo everyone. eerrmm, darren/faye - since usmann has got the indian sorted, what do you think of a bit of pasta the next time we meet ?

thanks/roy

I'd get the dealer to double check the part numbers before you order - my J-spec EPC is getting a bit long in the tooth. Also, there are a bazillion bits of trim and clips that fit around the weatherstrips. I had a bit of a job narrowing the list of part numbers down to just the rubbery bits. The exploded views of the doors and roof are a nightmare. Check out the EPC screen in the dealer and you'll see.
