what do you use to make your plastic lights shine ??

ive got some facelifts that are coming out while i am in germany and i want them to look nice when i visit the UK i would use T-cut but does this knacker the plastic?

t cut seems to work ok obviously on the outside..i use it and a few other people i know do too and it works a treat.although it may not be reccomended? im not too sure.

I used t-cut and they came up like new but you need to keep doing them as they yellow up pretty quick

I just use the wax i do the rest of the car with. I would have thought t.cut would damage the plastic after a while....

I used T-cut first then, Maguires plastex after as its finer than t-cut. The T-cut soon takes off the yellowing, and the plastex gives a crystal clear finish

 

It's not a great picture, but you can see which one of my lights have been done. I got the Maguires Plastex of e-bay by the way.

anything abrasive should do it but try it on a small patch first...

 

I even resorted to meguires metal polish followed by some cutting compound.

 

autosol would probably work too

 

you can feel the difference with your fingers, before = rough surface, after = smooth

Novus 1,2 and 3 work very well for inside and out
