Darren-K
I always thought that you didn't get mozzys in the UK, they are gnats and people get confused but now I'm being assured you do- does anyone know? It would be nice to know what's eating me alive you def 100% get them in the UK, and whats worse is that there bite can be serious. you need protection mate, either buy the sprays to spray round and on your body or them things you plug into the mains., honest man they carry allsorts of infections. keep in mind that when it bites you,its putting a little bit blood from its last victim into you. Supragal
Well you'll all be totally uninterested to know I have 7 more huge bites after a 30 minute walk last night. I actually woke myself up scratching this morning they are so itchy. I paint a pretty picture huh?
andrew7
SG read my post above.... BTW If you walk around at dusk, i.e. walking the dog, that is the best time to pick up the odd animal flea. They are mostly inactive during the day, but as soon as dinnertime comes (dusk-ish) the jump on the first warm bodied creature that passes by. And their bites can be as itchy as hell (especially cat fleas, which are as vicious as their owners).......
tbourner
So you're saying Rosie's got fleas?

Dogs are checked regularly. Nex time I'm near a pharmacy I'll grab some and try it out thanks!
andrew7
So you're saying Rosie's got fleas? LOL. Funny how everyone gets "insect" bites, but never "flea" bites.... It's a possibility if you go wandering around at dusk, especially if lots of people walk their dogs there (or you own a cat!...)....

Pete
I never usually get attacked by them, but this year I am. I've got 8 bites on my legs, fingers, feet. Time to break out the repellant spray I think. I bought some E45 Itch relief cream which works well.
