Thanks for bring this one up! I missed the old thread and I've been wanting blue ever since I got my AVC-R - great to see it can be done and more importantly with the clock and odo too, another one for the list - I wouldn't dare attempt it myself though, I ruined a Nokia phone doing a blue LED conversion, I don't want to ruin a Supra too :)

Thanks Dude. I've read through the instructions and I was wondering if they would be too bright at night. Saves me trying both options.

There is NO way anybody would pay me to do this conversion it would take far too long , maybe if i offered the heater circuit on an exchange basis and you lot swap it over it would be feasable but it is still labour intensive!!!!!!!

i can do the full conversion for anybody if they are interested, i have done it on mine. Means it would be

Clock and Milage display

All the back lights behind the speedo dash

All the lights behind the switches

All the lights behind the controll panel

anyone interested, i can supply the whole kit as well, if you feel you can do it on your own!

Could I send a train ticket too so you can come to Leeds and do it?

:)

Failing that a kit would be good, I'll try my usual auto electrician and see if he's confident in doing it for me.

Yeah i have change the gear surround to blue as well, forgot about that section!, I can supply you just the blue kit for the speedo section if you like and instuctions but you will need a soldering iron!

For the others i will try and figure out a price for the Kit and installation for you on Monday as i am away from home at the moment, if you want i can do a complete step by step instructions with photos for those who are confident on doing it on there own, i need to change my interior trim as i have brought a whole new set of interior bits, so can do that next week as i am changing mine around!

Also for Mcanny, we can sort something out if you like as i am in Lincs near boston on weekends so a bit closer to you.

just for everyone's info, i'd like to say that 'Myster' is an all round good bloke. He was well up for installing an active spoiler to my car including all the electrics, he even made a big round trip for nowt when we found that we were stuffed without a suitable undertray.

He seems to really know his stuff and is well into electronic gizmo's as you'll see if you ever see his dash!

Step by step instructions sounds promising. I think that suit me as would be able to that at work.
