mike_mcevoy
Hate to tell you this then, but it isn't a Greddy one, they are around the 350-450 mark, the one you have is from an ebay trader called anewdigital (http://www.anewdigital.com) the kits sell for around £135. Does the job though as I have one on mine. well either way it's identical but it's not from ebay, if you need to speak to Rob from Endless Racing, That was a special offer price which normally retail (according to them at £295) that i picked up the end of last year but it was a price i couldnt miss and as it was a trader any problem i can just go back to then rather than that some dodgy ebay seller? Damned if i can find the thread now but what can you do!!
JohnA
...I thought that was why the filter was normally carefully arranged to be upsidedown and why it was good advice to prime the filter with oil during an oil change...?? exactly I wouldn't recommend that oil filter location (too high up) or orientation (facing upwards) If it replaces the original filter, then the turbos pick up their juice right after it. If it is empty, on startup the turbo bearings and the shaft will spend a few seconds of quality time knowing each other intimately. This is cumulative damage (i.e it adds up!) This is cumulative damage (i.e it adds up!) very good point but even inverted i can still prime the filter with at least a pint of oil so any chance of dry running is hopefully reduced. I'll probably look at moving the filter a bit lower but as we all know space in the engine bay is minimal at best...well on that side of the engine anyway.
