mines a j spec the hybrids i got were for a jspec and from envy

If they're for a j-spec then.....

Just bung them on, it'll be fine (if you really want hybrids, I wouldn't want them myself)

Just don't push the boost too high until you sort your fuelling out.

:D

The serious answer is that the UK supras have adequate fuelling to run hybrids at 1.3bar but J-specs don't really.

And yes Hybrids are quite laggy compared to J-spec turbos - but so are UK ones

Agree with the above!! Dont bother mate, it will be laggy as hell, stick with a small single....trust me

I am confused. Why would hybrids run in sequential mode be as laggy as hell compared to a single turbo that will spool up later?

Sorry CJ maybe didnt read the above correctly, Hybrids will be quicker to spool, but a set of big twins like HKS or similar are very laggy on an auto unless you have high stall etc

Personally I would be worried about just putting a set of hybrids on and expecting the stock j-spec fueling to cope, if I did I'd keep the boost down to around 0.8bar. To do this you are going to have to fit a smaller restrictor ring.

It would be a good idea to fit a wide band O2 sensor, or at the very least an EGT gauges so you can monitor things.

im puttin hks big twins on later when i can afford it. but i have these hybrids sat around and someone wants my stockers

why are you putting hybrids on as a temporary measure if theres nothing wrong with your stock twins?! Or does someone want your stock ones to hybridise themselves?
