nguyen Posted June 4, 2006 Share Posted June 4, 2006 hi folks, just wondering if anyone can give me some advice. i have just removed my tailgate struts for reconditioning but it has left four holes as the bolts are connected to the struts. then when i was quietly sitting watching topgear it started pissing down with rain and i suddenly remembered these holes, they go straight into the interior! i loosened the pannel to see if it was wet in there but it was hard to tell and it was dark... but the interior light wouldnt go out after that so i just removed the bulb for now... does this mean i messed up a connection somewhere?! i was also wondering if anyone knows whats best for bunging holes to make them a bit waterproof! thanks in advance Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

nguyen Posted June 4, 2006 Author Share Posted June 4, 2006 have stuck clingfilm in the holes but they said it would take up to 2 weeks from when i post them off so i better hope for nice weather! wont tape lose its stickyness in the rain tho?!
