Just wondering if there are any tips or web sites which give a good idea on where to start, as I have no clue what and how much materials I need and what to do when I get some Any help would be nice.. Many Thanks..
Bill Prawn
Wickes. They do a fact sheet and sell easy to fit decking. I did my own and I'm no chippy. It is easy to do, the hard part is the groundwork before hand.
ivan
I was going to do a 10' x 20' strip in my garden. Then she decided it'd look much better paved.

If I may disagree in one small repect oh ancient and learned ami - the wood that Wickes uses is extremely 'thin' and you could get the similar from a proper builders merchants - thicker and better Preparation / groundsheets / anti-rot treatment etc is all... Hire a industrial saw from your local hire shop too - easy once measured and drawn correctly Ebay have some guys on there who will deliver to your spec
