Jake
Don't go if you've got something else to do. Horse racing is dull. I've been to a few events but never really had a great time. It's nice if you win some money but apart from that I would much rather go to a motorsport event or a footy match.
klump
Dont bet then, just because you go to a place where you can bet doesnt mean you have too !!
geoffvalenti
Don't go if you've got something else to do. Horse racing is dull. I would much rather go to a motorsport event or a footy match. I'll agree with that, horse racing is so slow between races. Dog racing is far more fun for the buck, although dogs are a lot more unpredictable if you're trying to win money. Personally I'll allot an amount to spend on betting per race and stick to it. That way I come away having had a good time, and not lost the shirt off my back I'll agree about the motorsport event, but I'm not really a football fan. I think I'd prefer to wash the car, in fact I think I'd prefer to wash somebody else's car

RedM
Horse events, or more specifically, the horsey people that go to them make me wonder if our gun laws need to be relaxed.
