pistonbroke
Managed this all in one day. I haven't stopped though, I wanted it ready for the bluewater meet tonight. Sorry about the crappy pics, taken on my phone.

pistonbroke
Only thing is, I lost my chrome dial surrounds, sanding off the rubber crap ruined the chrome.

pistonbroke
Speedhut ones from America, you can get them from miamiGT. They change colour as well, blue or green.
pistonbroke
Hey - I like them! Cheers for getting these for me Paul, I'm well impressed with them, excellent quality. Only thing is, I had to modify the needles slightly to get the dials on. I've heard of all sorts of horror stories of people having to recalibrate the dials after they've pulled the needles off, see if you can see what I've done. SatSport
so did you manoeuvre the dial faces past the needle or what??
pistonbroke
Yes, the dial faces go over the needles, but only because the needles have now been modded, you'll noticed that at the back of the pointers there is usually an overhang, not anymore I filled them off to get the dials straight over the top. pistonbroke
I'm sure Emin (supra TT meister) got mine on with no mods to the needles He must have removed the needles then. There is no way they will slide over while the needles are in situe.

Supra ST Myster
There is no need to do anything with the needles!! dont need to remove them or cut them down, the dials DO fit over no probs, (Just need a bit of Skill Stealth and Stamina) I have done about 10 sets and they all gone over without any mods or removing needles. pistonbroke
How do you slide it over the fuel and temp gauge when the needles are pointing in different directions? You can move the temp gauge so its pointing in the same direction as the petrol one, then slide them over, i'm sure the dials would never go over without the mod, but hey, nevermind, its done now.
