Andy-No-Knee Posted May 30, 2006 Share Posted May 30, 2006 Been serching through EGay and cos of the plight of the US dollar (well c'mon, it has fek all to do the the 'masterly' way Uncle Tone and old Gordon have handled the economy of recent has it?) there are a few prices that look very nice. So which are better? HKS Adjustable Cam Gears, GReddy Adjustable Cam Gears or AEM Adjustable Cam Gears? The stock non adjustable are in the best place for timing and they are reasonably light...why add unreliability? If you want something shiny that everyone can see (as you won't be silly and expose the cam gears will you now) then the Greddy pulley kit is pretty...and saves a little weight. There are reports of the three bolt type (HKS, Unorthodox) slipping off adjustment. I have a set from Titan Motorsports (5 bolt). Both are hidden behind the pully cover and set at 0 deg. So what your saying is if I dont want to go Bling then leave well alone, but what if I get the HKS cams? Will I need the adjustable ones or not? I have just sourced a pair of JUN pulleys and HKS cam for Ian C, the JUN pulleys look very good quality.
