is their any finance left on the car or was it bought out right?

And i take it if their is any finance he is planning on paying it off with the money from the car?!?

(just checking poor mate of mine got done by a guy selling him a car with finance and then not paying the finance off :( )

car was financed with a personal loan i believe so there is no outstanding finance attached to the car.

yes Jamesmark, you're right. These are regularly mapped up to near 200bhp but even with the 150 TDI you're already getting bags of torque.

Apparently it "accellerates better than a new Golf GTi" when compared by someone who'd driven both.

i think they can go all the way to 220bhp, and standard between 30-70 its faster than a porsche boxster

310 of torque

I've driven a Golf GTi and Audi A3 1.9 TDi Quattro (140ps and 250lb/ft IIRC), and the Audi was much better than the Golf - so this should be a little beasty!!

Any pics?

will hopefully get pics up soon, just waiting for him to email me them.

na mate, this was a friend not into cars at all and bought it without knowing that if someone doesnt pay the finance, they come to get the car. Gutted for him, there was nothing we could do

This happened to one of the main guys on the westover forum mate. His bestest buddy did it to him. Almost came to bailiffs and exchange of violence before it got paid off.

might want to consider no more bumps lol it aint working, he might wanna re think the price, as my mate had one and it was modded and he had to let it go for a lot less and his was 5 months old, i think your mate is pushing it a bit
