MarkTheBoy
Hi everyone, Just a quickie this time, wheres best to have my supra worked on in Essex? I want a garage to have a look at it all to sort out my error 42 thing and possibly change my cam belt. Wheres good? Any recommendations? I keep hearing the name Thor mentioned, who and where are they? Cheers All Mark

letmeshowyou
Thor are in Leicester area. Whereabouts in essex are you? I've had stuff done at Whifbitz (Enfield) and Engine advantages in Witham are increasingly taking on work on Jap cars...
Homer
I'm sure you'll get a lot of replies recommending Pheonix (Its where I go too), though it can take a while to get a booking.

Heard mumblings of a Dyno day down there on the 11th. What sort of work do Engine Advantages take on? Otherwise Enfield look like a good option, are they round the A406? I think Ive seen them. Pig
Nope, i was in a grand voyager! I crossed the road as you were coming out of the bit by halfrauds! I normally go and say hi to any supra but being bank holiday i didnt bother doing my hair etc so didnt! Didnt get much of a look really, from what i saw she looked good. Very bold numbers on your plate, that certainly stood out. You going to come along to the next meet. Oh and sorry didnt pay attention to what your G/F looked like to busy looking at the alloys (Not gay, just spoken for)

Cheers all, Mark Hi Mark, We are in Crews Hill, next door to Enfield so not to far from you. Let me know if you need anything doing on your car. Best to email over the next couple of days as I'll be in hospital tomorrow, my girlfriend will be giving birth to our 2nd child! terribleturner
I've used Paul at Whifbitz, Mark at Phoneix and Greg at Turbofit and can recommened them all.
letmeshowyou
I'd say Whifbitz are worth the travel. Engine advantages will do pretty much anything you ask of them though basically (including putting a diesel engine in if you really wanted them to im sure). Paul... congrats on the 2nd child - fingers crossed things go smoothly
supRo
For Mechanical work I can recommend Phoenix and Whifbitz. For in depth Electrical work I'd say Matt H or Thor. Not many garages have ossiloscopes (spelling?) to test electrical components.

Cheers OUCH.... So glad we don't have to go through that.... Man Flu finishes me off let alone 26 hours of panting and pushing, my poor old mum had the same with me... I was bloody 10pound & 12ounces. SOD THAT! Every time my GF starts getting broody I just mention it and she suddenly goes off the idea Good luck with the new little one.
