AMG
What is the f3cking point of having speed humps in ahousing estate where it would be very difficult to even reach 30, especially when they are f3cking huge!?!?! Just took a big chunk out of the carbon fibre bit of my ridox bumper on a speed hump that a f3cking saxo would struggle to get up!
Angarak
Speedbumps, the most annoying thing on the road bar speed cameras and BMW drivers Theres a speedhump on the entrance/exit to a petrol station near me - I dont use it anymore since it always scrapes the arse of my exhaust - and my exhaust has good ground clearance. Its scraped so many cars that it now has huge gouges in it! Put a claim in with the local council/highways agency....after all, your not paying road tax to have your car damaged! AMG
Yeah, i might just do that. It is stupid how high they make some of these humps. Its not as if they slow the people who drive fast down. They just speed over them caus they don't give a shit about thier cars the speed limits. I am not saying i don't speed but at least i am very aware of when and where i do it. God i am pissed off about this.

AMG
i wouldn't mind if i had sped over it but i was literally crawling over it trying not to mess my car up on a pathetic sleeping policeman.
Lebsteif
i have to avoid certain roads, otherwise i get stuck on the bump. Here in holland it is one big speed bump themepark. around everycorner are speedbumps, some even higher than others. fucking annoying! hogmaw
they should use chicanes instead of speed bumps, they slow traffic but without the damage
Whitesupraboy2
they should use chicanes instead of speed bumps, they slow traffic but without the damage but that would cost more money
Angarak
Money wouldnt be a problem if our Government would invest the grand total it makes from Road Tax alone back into the roads.
THE DON
they should use chicanes instead of speed bumps, they slow traffic but without the damage you hit the nail on the head i keep asking that question. bastard speed hump nearly took my front off other day hate them. squiffy
i have a flat spot on my exhaust where it curves under the rear suspension and keeps getting hit, probably part of the reason the weld broke commin off the silencer
chilli
they suck! those new ones that are infatable look good. If you hit them at speed then don't have time to deflate and are hard. If you go over them slowly they deflate and go flat... bound to do much less damage if any, just a bit of rubbing as the front goes over them perhaps. Ray
Its the not the speedbumps... Its how you encounter them Without speedbumps driving would be boring!
Kittyclaws
I read somewhere, that in London, lots of streets wanted them , to stop cars speeding etc, but it does have a big draw back, anyone who called for an ambulance had to wait longer for it to arrive, due to the speed bumps, and also if they were in a bad way, it would take the ambulance longer to get to the hospital, also treatment is harder to give whilst on the move, wait for it,,,, due to speed bumps, because of this, some streets in london are now removing them
