Hi all!

I’m from Moscow, Russia  . My car is a big brother of MKIV Supra – JDM SOARER  . Now I have 1JZ-GTE on manual tranny R154. I found 2JG-GTE VVTi engine (JDM Aristo, 99) and want to SWAP it in my Soarer. But there is I big problem: I can’t find any wiring diagram (ECU and other) for this engine or any other info about it. It’ll be grateful, if you can help me to find documentation for this engine.

Many thanks, Nik Soarer tt.

P.S. sorry, my English isn’t so good, I hope you can understand what problem I have…

OOh  hello sailor. Once again I can't take credit for it. I done a quick search and I believe it was Tdaxgav/ Phoenixone what ever he calls himself nowadays that posted it up . I just found it in one of Jakes threads and posted it here.

I haven't any access to the diagrams direct, They came from a search on this forum and I think its was Pheonixone that posted them up so it might be worth PMing him or having a quick search for anymore on here. :)

Phoenix-One, thanks a lot!!! Really useful info.

I'll post some pictures during SWAP. It'll be in two weeks. Now I’m waiting some "toys" from Jap: Trust intercooler, APEXi N1 muffler :)

This week we're going to inspect my engine and change all defected components.

P.S. Is it possible to join to your club as a full member, or it's only Supra owners club :) ?

Apparently this swop has been done a few times in the good old US of A, so the info you need is out there somewhere..

Check out American Soarer websites....:)

Here's one that was done..

here's where:

And this is link to discussion about 2JZ Drift Soarer that will be seen on British TV shortly driven by Tiff Needell

SUMO have prepared this car so they probably have the information you need, contact the poster "SumoPower":

2 tDR Ok! I’ll by a new digital camera especially for this project! I’ll make photos of all steps of this project. I hope you’re interested, how to do SWAPs in Russia!

2 Phoenix-One The dash section isn't a serious problem. I’ll explain all this problems in my write up about SWAP.

2 andrew7 I’ve seen this stories, but all US Soarers are with non-VVTI engines. Thats the difference with my project. They’re 2 soarers in Moscow with 2JZ-GTE non-vvti. One with auto tranny (about 700hp) and another soarer with 6getrag about (500hp). But a want swap vvti engine.

Nice project, if you post pics I am sure a lot of people will be interested in following your progress. I KNOW I will be, best of luck with it.

Did I send you that or did you use one of my non-vvti docs as a template  Looks the same as mine but I haven't got a copy of the Word doc, I might have deleted it after I realised it was for a GS300 and not a Supra
