MrRalphMan
Chap up the road from me has an Elise and I was walking past as he took it out. Now I like the looks of these, but their a little small for me.. As he drove off I had to cringe as it farted away like a old XR3i.. I would have thought the exhaust note would have been slightly better from these..
Rayman
Mmm you'd think so, if it had a standard exhaust tho they dont tend to design em too loud as its right next to yer ear as well with no top. Obviously they sound much better with an aftermarket exhaust and decat but never in the supra league with only 4 cylinders.

Alex
What on earth were you expecting a 4pot Elise to sound like?
Bobbeh
The new Toyota ones would sound good when revving higher.. I dont give any to the Rover engines.

The exhaust on my Elise (admittedly not standard) sounds a lot better than the Nur Spec R. It's not as deep but it's a lot more tuneful. At high revs it shatters your eardrums and sounds fantastic! MrRalphMan
This was pulling away getting to I guess 3k ish in first and it was a farty noise.. Not meaning to offend and I'm sure it would be different under WOT, but just thought it might have been a bit nicer.
Pete
Most modern sports cars sound rather unimpressive like that when not at full chat. An old fart in a Porker overtook me like a mad man on roundabout the other day. Besides being left with the thought "you're old enough to know better you grey haired idiot" I was also thinking how crap it sounded.
