Ok I really dont get what your trying to point out! as for technical then yes its dumb to try and answer something that you really know nothing about.

Grammar/spelling is a bit different than telling someone to use a hammer to disconnect the battery. They are on opposite ends of the scale, chalk and cheese. Very bad example you have tried to use imho.

So in other words if someone was to join this club and lets say "text speak" or badly spelt for that matter and really needed advice about something and did not know this club and how petty it can be sometimes, you would honestly think your above helping someone JUST because they text speak? ...........hmmm interesting

So far since I have joined this club I have never seen a post that badly written in txt speak.

I can see what your trying to point put but your examples are a bit lame imo

I dont like txt speak!! but hey ho there is more to life than worrying about peoples txt speak and grammar/spelling

yeah you missed his point, his point was that technical answers to questions would be meaningless if written incorrectly.

As for never seeing a thread that bad, you must have missed all of jazz's posts :p

JamesMark,

Those of us that give peope a hard time about their badly written posts are just trying to maintain a decent standard of posts on this forum. The forum owner and senior moderators support us in this.

I'm sure nobody wants mkivsupra.net to turn into a chav-fest like some of the other car forums.

If anyone doesn't like people picking them up on poorly written posts they have two choices:

  • Post in something resembling English
    or
  • Try to find another Supra forum as good as this one that puts up with baby talk posts. (Good luck with that)

I cant agree more tbh, but some go on about it more than others. And in my opinion its as sad as people that txt speaking.

Its something that we all hate the "chav speak" its annoying but its not gonna change. And its a pity it wont change.

Lewis, I think you are right when you say that Binary is both simpler and more intelligent than using Morse Code. It was a bit of fun but, like you say, if it's good enough for PCs...

...and where were you? Trying to code your comments into Binary txt speak unless I've got my sums wrong.

How'd I do?
