klump
After the past few days of totally crap weather decided to wash the car as the sun had come out , after washing her i noticed loads of marks all over the car , before the wash had to gets loads of leaves and crap off the car. I am taking that the marks are some sort of sap or the like from leaves being on the car but just cant get rid of them Anyone got any ideas please, did a search and clay bar came up - what are they ? Thanks
peter richards
i think its just from the leaf stalk , i valeted a white nissan , with those marks on it had been parked under a treee for weeks . once i had washed and dried the car , the autoglym polish i use has a slight cut in it , and the marks just polished out. hope this helps peter
JamesG
I use a clay bar and it really smoothes the paintwork. There's a good guide on car cleaning here: http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=158378
carl0s
I use Megs Paint Cleaner for removing shit from the paint. Works very well, it's just a petroleum distillate.
