Power Steering Noise

Could just be low fluid, but this would likely point to a leak somewhere. This is what happened with my old UK car, the leak was a tiny hole in the PS cooling pipework due to corrosion (10yrs worth of salty winters) that took a number of weeks to go from high to low. Eventually located the source by having a good clean up in the area and then running the car and watching. A friend affected a semi permanent repair with some flexible piping.

Probably not the case for you but maybe for some others in the not to distant future (+ it reminds me that I should let the owner of my old car know as well really!)
