adman
Evening boys and girls... After (another) lame day at work, imagine my happiness when I seen this.... http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=69448 Okies, this is it, after much looking, I think I've found my first Supra, I want it soooo badly But, my head is now ruling over my heart and I need your advice on costs... Firstly, insurance ( )... I'm 23 4 years no claims squeky clean licence single, no kids, engineer the car will be garaged (and for the moment in Nottingham... I know..... not ideal.....) with the additional spec on the car, what kinda price you reckon for insurance and any recommended brokers?!? Secondly, fuel... I'm doing about 150 miles a week... if I drove it like a nun ( ) how many miles for a full tank and how much to fill her up? Thirdly.... I've got a 1998 BMW 318iS coupe with 70k miles on her, full service history (either BMW or specialist), leather, air con, e/w, 6 cd changer, standard 10 spoke alloys, met paint, near showroom condition... what kinda price could I sell it for? (and no BMW jokes thank you... ) Cheers again for all your help guys, hopefully I can be a "proper" member of the club soon and not an imposter... Lewis
what the hell is "indicate"?!?! You will have to get an owners manual from another car, it's not mentioned in the BMW ones
lockys96
lol. had someone not indicate on the way home i was following, didnt indicate once going around roundabouts, turning off. id just like to have a battered car and pull out in fron of them, and say its your fault, why is it too hard to indicate, some people just think they are higher than anyone else forgot to say WELCOME, those kei whells look great, and yes, ring lancaster mate

adman
well the problem is I'm supposed to be buying a house at the mo... but the house cant put a smile on my face like a Supra can (neither will it send me to hell in a burning wreckage backwards..... but thats all part of the fun!) so thats where the money questions are coming into it. I think I have now adopted the "ahhh feck it, why not" attitude, I'm happy, the bank manager aint, so it's all good Just need to wait until I get back from my business trip next week and hopefully it will still be up for sale (fingers, toes, b:#&*!"s all crossed!! ) Oh, and as for being a BMW driver, I'm one of the rare breed that actually knows where the indicator stalk is and what function it actually performs, sadly I can't say the same for the rest of them...
