LeeT
Think we need to get the PHR S2+ and the T67DBB on the rollers...or comparative datalogs from a PHR kit to Ian's big DBBT67 write up. Datalogs of a 5th gear roll from 2000rpm would be really useful. isnt the PHR2+ essentially the same turbo as a 67dbb anyway??
Lucifer
Pretty much yes. But played with quite alot for Spool times.

Alex
ITS use their own BB design...Precision (who supply BL) use Garrett BB's. Wheels design will also be different...as the crappy T04Z has show there is more to it than just the mm's in the diameter of the wheel.
b_have
Charlie, we have PHR kits here and the quality is simply THE very best. All HKS original parts. Woudl you like me to put up some photos as I need to start selling these kits anyway Real world graph plots would be better. Already have the PHR stage one (fitted 5 years ago and still going strong) so I know the quality is superb. What we need is a BL v PHR shootout on the same dyno, with the same car setup, just swapping turbos. My car is available for the test

So we would need a whole manifold and turbo swap, inc wastegate adn DP too though to be fair.

Not interested in BL manifolds/kits (I'm sure they're excellent) Just interested in a direct comparison between two similar turbos running on the same setup/dyno. If anything else is changed, data is meaningless.

Alex
do bl make there own manifolds then ? Yes they make their own but they are the same design as the GReddy unit...BL's version is stronger then GReddy's and it's proven to flow as much if not more than an HKS style manifold.
