Guest mk47 Posted May 22, 2006 Share Posted May 22, 2006 was just pulling out of my street happily minding my own business - when this b*tch of a neighbour comes running in front of my car.. so i stop and she comes over to me and starts screaming - KEEP YOUR CAR DOWN AT NIGHT! haha no wonder her husband left her. im thinking i should go outside her house tonight and redline her a few times.... whats your opinion? jazz1 Posted May 22, 2006 Share Posted May 22, 2006 the other day both my dogs ran away as we are building a bigger garage at the back we recovered the big white german shepard but the small dog is still missing, anyways i had to block the back end of so the big dog wouldnt run away. If she phones and complains to your local plod and they slap a Section 59 Police Reform Act notice on you, you'll find your motor being seized and you having to pay a shed load to get it back. Neighbours can make life very difficult... why not try the reasonable approach and TALK to her???? Who knows, she may be understanding... people have bad days.. I remember burning a neighbours decking a while back (needless to say she was a lunatic and my other half ACTUALLY had a restraining order becuase of death threats, kid you not [something to do with my SO's sister shagging her husband]).. and I went over, knocked on the door, apologised, went in, had a cup of tea, came out in one piece and she said I was welcome to use the parking spot anytime I liked... Yup, she must have been nuts... I reckon if you stick to the letter of law, and Classone will be able to quote what it is..., then if she really is unreasonable, then she will have no grounds to complain on, and eventually she will be regarded as the nuisance rather than anyone else.... Bear in mind, there is a sound pollution limit, that we all seem to ignore (and I'm just as bad), but my neighbours are just as bad as me, so we all get on just fine... shaf Posted May 22, 2006 Share Posted May 22, 2006 neighbours like that p me off. one tuesday afternoon about 1pm i started my rx and let it idle for a few minutes to get it warmed up. neighbour from across the road and down 2 comes running out of her house and says "WILL YOU STOP REVVING YOUR ENGINE!!!!!" i was like "WTF are you on about women. see me here standing outside the car opening the gate on the drive to take the car out. how the hell can i be revving it!" car was just idling, i know better than to rev a car when cold. anyhow, she wasnt having any of it and started mouthing off some more. i get really angry now and tell her to "F*** off and what is she gonna do about it?!" "you'll see!!!!" she shouts as she runs off back to her house from me as i was getting ready to lamp the old biddy! anyhow, nothing for a few days and then get a letter through the post from the council saying that a complaint had been made by a neiighbour about revving the car at all hours of the day. lying f*****g b****! ignored it and a week later she has moved out of the house, thank god. now i wouldnt of minded but for a few things 1. i never start up my cars at unsociable hours 2. the rx isnt that loud compared to the scooby 3. her attitude was very aggressive 4. she was a lying cow 5. i never rev my cars outside my house or anywhere else for that matter 6. it was mid-day FFS anyhow, sorry for the long post Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Have some respect for residential area's. It costs you nothing to drive quietly when people are trying to sleep...especially when you do it frequently.
