1100hp

I'm no expert.. very far from one infact, but is it possible to make 900+ still using the stock intake manifold like you have ?

I believe it is...and it's the TB you want to make bigger later, not the plenum.

I see, cheers for clearing that up for me... I just assumed that a Veilside type manifold was needed above a certain power to help achieve really high power. I remember reading that the larger plenum is only beneficial after about 700bhp or so and just assumed that was needed for figures in the 900's.

I'm still learning... :innocent:

The ports into the engine are what matter...the plenum's only purpose is to guide the air in there and evenly distribute it.

So the two bottle necks are the Throttle body and the intake port on the engine....on forced induction, you don't needa plenum!!

No Worries guys, the car is provisionally sold, awaiting deposit.

Thanks Ash for your comment, it truly is a great car, and the new owner will have a bargin, I hope he does with it what I always wanted to do with it, but couldnt afford to. (my pockets wernt as big as I thought they were) and Ive learnt a valuable lesson, big boys toys cost big boys money, something I never really had.

this sums up my bank manager and me

:swear:
