darren j adams
Mine are 14.5-8 on tickover! full throttle it goes off the scale rich and gauge finshes at 11. My fuel pressure is 30 at the mo static so cant reduce anymore to try and lean it. Suppose a tweek on my map is coming!! Gauge is a wonderful thing!! D. Lee P
11 is fine at wide open throttle you are a bit rich on tickover. When your throttle is 3/4 open you want to see 13 or lower really to be safe. Thanks Lee
Guest Terry S
Darren, my car idles at 13.6 ( seems much smoother than stoich) dropping to 11.5 at full boost. What I have noticed is that the AEM reads approx. 0.2 leaner than both my HKS Knock Monitor and my Autonic AFR analyser, but it's a consistant 0.2 so it is a great bit of kit for the money. Guest Usmann A
Del, yours is ok, just a bit rich at top end like you were saying, you need stop spitting them friggin fireballs out the exhaust. I think its alot more todo with Boost, Rpm, and ign eventhough TPS can go hand in hand with RPm, but not always.(yes racecars use Alpha -N, TPS systems ) Small throttle, high rpm, cruising around 15.5-17.5afr, even more sometimes, depends on how good it resists Det, and how advanced your timing is. Cant wait for controller, then you can see exactly what shes doing, and make it faster ..... :D

darren j adams
Thanks for link! Thanks for your help i thought everyone was ignoring me! Im only running 14 psi so maybe ill up it to 20 to see if i can lean it off. Still on 14psi i stayed next to a TL1000 bike in first and second and backed off in third so he didnt hit the island. D.
