dandan
Hi Guys, Anyone seen either of these before 1. Gear shift light - connected to red LED for shift points I presume 2. Speed Meter/Limiter cut Can anyone suggest what exactly the speed meter is, where it would be connected to, exactly it is doing and the effects of removing it (other than reducing wires behind dash). Thanks guys PS anyone got a part no. for front undertray(s) beneath sump (for jdm car). Thanks.

dandan
Come on people, someone must have some idea about these
Chris Wilson
I threw out a Pivot air fuel controller the other day. Looked really naff, and poorly made. AFAIK little wiring info available in English.
dandan
OK thanks Chris, seems that noone is really clued up on them at all. Shift lamp is obvious enough, timing signal from ecu and adjustable led lighting point. I actually quite like it, set around 5.5k atm. All I can assume is that the other box is the de-limiter, and there's no way that's coming out!! By the way Chris, the car now makes 1.0bar w/o b.controller (0.7 before). The "tinkle tinkle" sound (under boost) has gone (loose bits in cat), the exhaust is considerably louder and so is the turbo spooling sound. I think those ceramic bits and the cat itself were a major restriction as car now flies up the rev range and genuinely feels quicker than before. I am comparig 1.0bar with bc off to a "forced" 1.15bar with bc on and cat in. I'm convinced this is quicker and more powerful and considerably less boost. Much appreciated. Brakes are still squeaking tho (front and rear) any ideas?
Chris Wilson
Glad you like it The turbos will be working less hard, now at a given boost, too. Squeal must be the worn disks. Front and rear have anti squeal shims in place.... I'd live with it until you decide to re disk it.
