JustGav
My theory is to make an adapter lead with that unit going into the female OBD-II style connector, then in theory any obd-ii scanner that supports VPW will work such as the ScanTool one
Pete
I believe one issue is that OBDII is a standard, however, Toyota seemed to have used an OBDII socket, but it doesn't like to talk to other equipment that is OBDII standardised. In otherwords they've done a bit of a Microsoft it seems.
Jake
When I start the engine all the lights go out by then after a few seconds the red triangle and the yellow engine light come on. (Not oil pressure or oil level lights though) Fixed it! The socket to the Cam Position Sensor wasn't on properly. No more error lights now.
