So is it safe to say most people on here are into 'Rock'?

I deffo love a good rock tune, was into really hardcore metal for years about a decade ago, then went back into Dance music (trance/progressive mainly).

I totally despised 'Britpop' and all it stood for however a lot of these new bands like the Kaiser Chiefs etc are putting out some great tunes. I like this new wave of Brit rock... still love groups like Feeder too, great band. :)

A mate of mine reccons Chinese Democracy is going to be the greatest album of the decade, eclipsing appetite, and even forwarded me a link to a demo song off it as proof... which wouldn't download as I'm on shitty dial-up. I remain hopeful, but the spaghetti incident was shocking.

Soon I discovered that this rock thing was true

Jerry lee lewis was the devil

Jesus was an architect previous to his career as a prophet

All of a sudden, I found myself in love with the world

So there was only one thing that I could do

Was ding a ding dang my dang a long ling long

You just sent me scurrying off to find my Ministry cds. You a big fan? Haven't listened to em for years.

Excellent!

I was into them big style - saw them at Manchester on the Psalm69 tour. That is such a mamoth album. Ever tried moshing all the way through the full version of Just One Fix - it's about 8/9 mins long and is a real challenge.

That was the last record of their I bought. Too rock for me. I prefered the 'proper' industrial sound of A Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste and Land of Rape and Honey.

oohh... Stigmata.

Did he pursue his Nine Inch Nails obsession? Would be a bit odd if he has as the NIN sound he so loved isn't what NIN sound like these days.

Aha - Nine Inch Nails - now we're talking.

Saw them at Manchester earlier in the year on the With Teeth tour. The SACD version of the Downward Spiral is very good.

I am a big man

(yes I am)

and I have a big gun

got me a big old Dick and I

I like to have fun

held against your forehead

I'll make you suck it

maybe I'll put a hole in your head

you know, just for the fuck of it

I can reduce you if I want

I can devour

I'm hard as fucking steel, and I’ve got the power

I'm every inch a man, and I'll show you somehow

me and my fucking gun

nothing can stop me now

shoot shoot shoot shoot shoot

I'm going to come all over you

me and my fucking gun

me and my fucking gun

Reminds me of Hardware! I really want that film on DVD.

I actually bought With Sympathy and Twitch - very very different Ministry back then.

Pete,

Do you know Hersha?

Probably not, but as far as NIN goes I got kind bored by The Fragile. Much prefered the earlier stuff and saw them on their first UK tour. Absolutely mental. Met Trent Reznor once too. Very nice if shy chap but now a bit of an arse or so I'm told.

I was talking about Hardware last week. Got onto it via a chat about The Field of the Nephilim. I take it Hardware isn't on DVD then!

Or is it?
