moistfinger Posted May 16, 2006 Share Posted May 16, 2006 Failed MOT today on emissions. I have a 1997 TT VVTI with both cats IN !!! Emissions were 6.0 when they should be 0.6 Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing the high emissions?. Car is standard with only a cat back exhaust. merckx Posted May 16, 2006 Share Posted May 16, 2006 I've got a 97 VVTI too and it failed on this . I had put both cats back in aswell. The CO level was about 9.4 I put a new oxygen sensor in and it passed, the plugs were very black! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
