Guest Connie Paa
Hi everyone:hello: This is my problem, I have a 1.2 bar restrictor ring for my RZ-S but i need a 1.0 bar ring. So, does anybody know the dimensions of the 1.0 bar ring??? As my friend can machine it for me no problem, once i get the info needed of course:rolleyes: Or if anyone know's why i can purchse one that may do.... I have tried CW already by e-mail, no joy:( Ideally, i would be if i can get the dimensions so i can get it made
Scoboblio
I *think* that this isn't an exact science - it's more trial and error to get an exact level of boost. Whifbitz provided me with a 1 bar restrictor ring for mine, hits just under 1 bar in 2nd gear, bang on 1 bar in 3rd, and just over 1 bar in 4th. You'll also find that the boost will vary with the outside temperature , set it at 1.0 bar on a warm summer's day and it will go up as the weather gets cold again. Guest Connie Paa
Yeah, i understand that alright! Thanks lads.. Still could really do with the dimension, as i think the 1.2bar ring is to much to be putting into the car. I do have all the BPU stuff. Do ye think i should just put in the ring i have and see how it goes??
