RedM
What about grumbling appendix? Symptoms: "damn, it's sodding raining again. Bloody kids. etc etc" ..and then there was the time I went to the docs and said "I've eaten something that disagrees with me" and from my stomach a little voice says "no you haven't". Top that, Ewen. Jake
Apparently the twitching leg thing is one of the things they look for when diagnosing mental illness. Honestly.

RedM
Apparently the twitching leg thing is one of the things they look for when diagnosing mental illness. Honestly. Yeah, worrying that. As I understand it the twitching is more to do with poor wiring than anything commonly thought of as a mental illness. As someone who suffers often crippling depression (not so much these days though) those crazy docs might just be onto something. Goddamn, whisky don't have make you relaxed. Charlotte
OMG this is weird. What so your leg just twitches all the time?
RedM
No, not all the time. That'd be odd. It's more, like, imagine that you're lying on the sofa and there is a football on the coffe table in front of you. You'd be really , REALLY tempted to kick it right? Well, even when the football isn't there your leg kind of goes through the motions anyway and you cannot stop it. In fact, trying not to just makes the inevitable twitch even worse. Christ, that was a piss-poor example. Sorry.

Scoboblio
I think I know what you mean, I get it a bit when going to sleep - embarassing on the train because I've come very close to kicking the person opposite
RedM
Just think of a muscle contraction that won't go away unless your leg twitches. The longer you leave it, or prevent it, the more violent it gets.

Yeah Mike always does it when i've taken about 10mins to slowly relax and almost go to sleep and sudden jerk. It's so annoying.
