Scooter Posted May 12, 2006 Share Posted May 12, 2006 Its a very simple procedure that can turn out to be a right pain. The 2 pins that locate the pads on UK calipers can sieze........once the wheels are off if you can remove these with some pliers then it will be plain sailing..........i'll try and find a link........... Scooter Posted May 12, 2006 Share Posted May 12, 2006 i don't want to put you off though................if i were you i'd chose front or rear and jack which up and then try the pins on both sides. Twisting and pulling on stubborn ones should expose enough to get some molegrips on it radially, which will let you apply lots more twisting force which 'should' free it up enough.......... The subsequent sudden lack of resistance culminated in me punching myself in the face quite hard.
