Markie
What are peoples views on which fuel package is the best from the above two. I am leaning towards the PHR one - Stage 2.

Ours is the best hands down :-). Seriouly, the BL kit doesnt even come with lines pre-assembled (or last I checked). Who wants to mess with putting together lines? Our kits are pre-assembled in the box, ready to install, and include every last nut, bolt, washer, clamp, and hose needed. Email me directly if you have any questions about it. Cheers as you say,
Chiefgroover
I had stage 2 PHR. If your running really big BHP then its fine. If your doing a T61 or the like its OTT. One of the draw backs of fitting new fuel lines is getting them to look well enough fitted for MOT (well over here where its done by Govt centers anyway). For most people a single walbro, dampener bypass, drop in 720's and a decent FPR is enough. PHR rail when installed didnt hold the injectors tight to the head for me, so I had to modify the brackets. Never managed to work out the fitting of their fuel pump relay, which is great I am sure but the pics on the web site didnt cover it (no written instructions with it). A single fuel pump setup is only good for about 550 BHP or so, otherwise it becomes unsafe. 720s reach 80% duty at about 600 WHP or so. Is your car a Euro spec version or Jspec? I wonder if there is a difference in the intake lowers? How did you modify it? Thanks,
MONKEYmark
i have a stage 3 phr with 960cc injectors (not fitted).think its great quality.think when you going with full upgraded fuel system they not much in it.they both look great quality kits.probably ott for most cars in uk. i like the phr products.bl have some good value items too, jarret do you have any wiring diagrams for the fuel relay in your kit? Chiefgroover
Modified by grinding it shorter, then it kept those suckers tight to the head, where as before they had up to 1.5mm of movement, which would suck air for sure. For the UK market it would be best to market the kit with a bolt on cover the full length of the floor to keep MOT inspectors happy. Zip tie's just dont amuse these guys. Lucifer
Dual pumps are dangerous without a protection circuit.
Gamer
Jarrett, Have you ever had anyone from the UK (Or a J-Spec Supra owner) purchase one of your Racing alternators (175a). I have one and we are having problems because the round to oval Toyota connector has a different plug then what is needed for my '95 J spec.... Any help you could give me such as where I might be able to locate the correct adaptor or any tips on what can be done (wired up without the connector maybe ?) If not I will have no choice but to return the Alternator for a full refund. Your advertising on the PHR site stating that this is a direct fit and all items are supplied does not hold true if you have a J-Spec Supra it seems.... Joe Joe, you can always email me directly on this for faster service. I've installed one onto a Jspec engine in a US body before, electrical connector was fine. If your connector wont fit the oval connector supplied, then just wire it directly into the round to oval harness supplied. Its only 3 wires, most shops can figure that out! Send me a pic of your electrical connector, I'm curious what you've got there. Thanks,
8secSupra
You need to check again Jarrett! They finally stepped up! I must admit its a good copy. :-)
Gamer
Thanks Jarrett I cannot get a pic of the connector right now as the car is in the shop having other bits done. I sent you an e-mail without fully reading your response above and did not include a picture, sorry. I will speak to the shop on Monday and see what I can do...
